Request for Help on Inability to Update

Dear Sir / Mdm.,

I have not been able to update recently.

I have tried re-installation using the latest version.

Can I get some assistance or inputs please?

I am running still Window ME on a Pentium IV.

The error message is as below:

There have been some problems with updating Win 98 machines. Try to do a search on the forum for information and see what was done/said.

Unable to download latest virus definition database

When running the ClamAV update process, it times out with :
ERROR: Can't get information about database.clamav.net: No IP address
ERROR: Can't get information about database.clamav.net: No IP address
ERROR: Can't download daily.cvd from database.clamav.net
Giving up on database.clamav.net...
Update failed. Your network may be down or none of the mirrors listed in c:\docume~1\username\locals~1\temp\tmp0rkdfj is working. Check https://www.clamav.net/support/mirror-problem for possible reasons.

Trying to connect to the mentioned webpage, fails with : Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
Crying or Very sad
There is no problem with my network connection as I can access all other websites and my email. Please help.

Have you configured ClamWin for internet updates? If you have, you might check your firewall to see if you have to allow ClamWin updates there. Finally, as a last resort, you might try to delete ClamWin and then do another install.

the clamav.net domain may be blocked by your network administrator/isp
