General questions from ClamAV for Win32 newbie

I have a couple of questions I was hoping to find answers to:

Q: I have multiple machines (2 x XP, 1 x Win Server 2003) which I'd like to be able to set some common options for all three scanners - for example, the location of the scan logs. Is this possible, if so, how?! As it is, I have manually set these options on each PC but I may wish to move the log file location in the future.

Q: Can one use Windows variables in the file names, for example, I'd like to be able to write the Scan log as "%COMPUTERNAME%-Scan.log"

Q: I can run a local disk scan without problem but always get a "file can not be found" message whenever I try a single-file or a remote-file. Any ideas why?

Many thanks for reading and hopfully answers!
Rich

As per my last question above, here is the exact response copied from the log file, from an attempted scan of a single file on a local disk:-

ERROR: 'D:\Quarantine\" --recursive --exclude=[^\]*\.dbx$ --exclude=[^\]*\.tbb$ --exclude=[^\]*\.pst$ --exclude=[^\]*\.dat$ --exclude=[^\]*\.log$ --exclude=[^\]*\.evt$ --exclude=[^\]*\.nsf$ --exclude=[^\]*\.ntf$ --exclude=[^\]*\.chm$ --kill D:\movies' doesn't exist or is not a directory

Hmm, I notice that the quotation marks appear to be incorrect around the commands (below, I've split the line each time I see a quote (single or double) and written at the end of the line which quote it appears to be):-

ERROR: ' (single quote)
D:\Quarantine\" (double quote)
--recursive --exclude=[^\]*\.dbx$ --exclude=[^\]*\.tbb$ --exclude=[^\]*\.pst$ --exclude=[^\]*\.dat$ --exclude=[^\]*\.log$ --exclude=[^\]*\.evt$ --exclude=[^\]*\.nsf$ --exclude=[^\]*\.ntf$ --exclude=[^\]*\.chm$ --kill D:\movies' (single quote)
doesn't exist or is not a directory

By my calculations, I see 2 single quotes and 1 double-quote?!

This could be just the log file that writes it out wrong but if it's the command line it's using then it will be wrong, unfortunately, I don't understand the code well enough to be able to say for certain, but this could be why it's throwing an error - because the whole string is being translated as the path to scan!

Surely, it should be ...

'{path_to_quarrantine}' "{options}" '{path_to_scan}'
