something interferes with your download, try manual download of db files and see if they are html or something different than a binary file

But when I go to the above pages I get a blank page

By going via the mirror health sites my I was able to get to the clamav.net page without interference from whatever it is that redirects my browsers etc. I have downloaded the cvd files! But where do I put them? I can't see any such files in the clamwin folders.

Found the database (looked it up in configure clamwin). Now to run it!
