Hallo, I try to download ClamWin on my USB. Then I try to run it and following message appears:

"You have not yet downloaded virus definitions. Would you like to download it now?"


I click on �Yes� and I receive the following message:

Are you running ClamWin or ClamWin Portable on USB? ClamWin probably won't run on USB, but ClamWin portable will--I have it. You need to follow the instructions about setup/configuration. With that said, we are having some problems with ClamWin updates. Look at some of the other threads in the ClamWin forum for ideas.

Dimitris: make sure you follow the setup and configuration directions at https://www.clamwin.com/content/view/118/89\ at the ClamWin site. Of course, this is for people who make the regular version of ClamWin portable. Check the ClamWin Portable website if you use that, and make sure you have it configured properly.

Chiran: your LAN is probably preventing ClamWin from downloading. Make sure ClamWin use is allowed on the LAN and with your firewall. Contack your LAN administrator if you need help.
