can i maually update my antivirus
what i do is copy daily.cvd into //.....db folder replacing the old file..
is it correct or does it replaces the old virus signatures

I believe that will work. Are you using ClamWin in some sort of network--is that why you don't update via a scheduled update or via the Download Virus Update from the incon in the system tray? You can check the DB folder to see what date the daily file has. Clam also has an update to the main signature file every couple of months or so, so you will need that update when it comes out.
