In Windows Explorer, you can right click on the first folder, select Scan With ClamWin Antivirus and when the scan is finished, repeat this with the next folder. You can only scan one folder at a time--you cannot do one scan for all of the folders.

You can also set up each item to be scanned on a schedule by ClamWin. Go to the ClamWin icon in the system tray, right click on the icon, select Configure ClamWin, Scheduled Scans, Add, fill out the configuration items for the scan of the first folder, select OK. Then repeat with the next folder. You can only schedule one scan at a time, but once all folders are scheduled, they will be scanned as you have configured them and you will not have to schedule them any more.

Hello,

You may write to Sherpya to check if a batch file can be used for setting up scans. As Bob suggested you may otherwise try to set up scheduled scans of specific folders at given times. My suggestion is to run single scans of those folders separately and note down timings, so you can create a reasonable schedule (of course timings may vary depending on machine's running processes, but you may set up schedules when machine is not particularly busy and take some extra time to be sure that next scheduled scan is not skipped)

Gruesse,
Antonio

I see what you are trying to do, KW. This is a feature that is needed in ClamWin, as we don't need to scan the entire drive--just the portions of it that are the most likely to hide viruses. I would like to see an option to set up an automated custom scan.

Perhaps the best way to do this, at the present, is to do something with the Windows Scheduler.
