Is there a way to hide the icon from the toolbar (registry or other means), but not turning Clam off?
Thanks.

Here's how to do it:
you can hid the icon in windows XP without a third party app. Right click on the taskbar click properties, click on the "taskbar" tab then the customize button. click on the behavior (hide when inactive) and a down arrow will appear. Choose "Always hide"
It might be nice if ClamWin included a Hide Tray Icon in its preferences, eh?

Thanks for the suggestion, but users can still unhide it by simply clicking on the unhide arrow button on the toolbar.
Is there a way to not allow other users modify the settings?
Is there a way to remove the icon from the toolbar without turning off Clamwin?
Thanks.

You must have some pretty knowledgeable users then! That's about all I can suggest--except that you might do some searching here on a silent install, which might be what you need. Perhaps one of the ClamWin developers will provide a solution if there is one.
