Hello,
It may happen that uncomplete scans (which remain as temp file) are detected by other av's as infected files. It has happened to me when Avira spotted a Clamwin temporary file as infected. It was actually the result of an aborted scan. Check the path of the file Avast has found as infected. It is very likely you will fin such files. In case come back on the forum for further assistance. For your second question I guess the forum is the best place to get answers from users. All participants may have benefit in sharing their experience (or troubles) using Clamwin and possibly receive support quickly. Regards, Antonio |

same thing happened to me.
I assumed though that as people advise never to have 2 anti virus programs going on your computer it must have been the cause. |
