hello fellow clamwin users and evolvers, this is my probs, I got this wondeful new freeware anti virus thing, it was working fabulous until recently, the auto update is now failing to connect. I checked out the previouse problems like with the local mirros in the conf file, though I cannot find a listing of local mirrors in my area. also I unblocked port 53 and told windows vista 32 bit edition to let clam win and freshclam through my firewall. whenever I go to the page to download main.cvd and daily.cvd they only open up as blank pagesw, I also check out that mirror problems page and I have no idea how to get to my dns settings can anyone please help, much thanks

with love and terabits

Good. Sometimes you can get around a blocking infection by booting into Safe Mode (if Vista has one) and then running a scan with ClamWin (this bypasses some of the simpler viruses). In Safe Mode, however, ClamWin uses only the default preferences.
