Hello:
I just updated ClamWin (to .94) today and am noticing a number of files being passed over in the scan with 'Permission denied' notices that didn't appear in previous scans using older versions of ClamWin.
I'm new to Windows, and don't always recognize these files as significant.
Should I just ignore the items that ClamWin passes over as 'Permission denied'? Were these files simply ignored by earlier versions of CW?
Thanks for your time.

Hello,
This refers to files locked by OS, nothing to worry about (see FAQ's on Clamwin's site). I'm also having these kind of messages during scans on my Vista machine.
Regards,
Antonio

permission denied messages were inhibit to harm less users, but we think it's better to have track of non scanned files
like user profiles
