ClamWin found FormtC-2 virus on a file which is a virtual disk of a virtual PC I need.

I can not delete the file. I worked hard on it.

How can I get rid of the Virus?

First make sure it's a real virus/malware by uploading a copy of the file to Jotti at https://virusscan.jotti.org/ on the Web. If several other scanners there also find it is infected, then reboot your computer into Safe Mode (hit F8 continuously upon bootup) and see if you can delete the file that way. If you can't, stay in Safe Mode, set ClamWin to Remove or Quarantine, and do another scan of that folder where the malware is.

If that doesn't work, download Cureit from Dr. Web and do a scan. You don't even have to install the program--just click and run it from wherever you downloaded it to. The scan will probably default to an Express Scan. It the first scan doesn't find anything, then configure Dr. Web's options to do an Extended Scan. If this doesn't work, download Norman's Malware Cleaner and run it in Safe Mode. If that doesn't work, you'll need some expert help. Below are some links.
