Using Windows XP. Download of this update from sourceforge.net always hangs and eventually shows "not responding." Many, many attempts at various hours.

Any suggestions?

Are you going to the Clamwin Web site and using the Download option from the menu? You might try that if not. Otherwise, check to see if your firewall/network is interfering with the download.

It took me several attempts updating before it worked for me. I unfortunately didnt save the error msgs. Maybe a timing msg/ IP something.. Dont know if it is connected, but after I went into the setting options - then it updated later while I was browsing..

Do you mean the download of the latest ClamWin version (0.92) or the update of the signature database?

Update -- Here's a log - had errors previous to this that were NOT saved in log file.
I also think that there were ClamWin program updates at the same time. Since this log -its been updating (or appears to) okay.

It seems that you have a connection problem.

Open a command window and execute the command "ping database.clamav.net". See how that goes.
