Hi,
I am running Clamwin on a windows 2000 server, and calling it from merak mail server in order to scan incoming mail.
It works great!
I have only one problem.
initially when i installed clamwin, i had to create a c:\tmp directory, where clamwin was writing files and directories to.
I have since changed the registry key ....software\cygnus solutions\cygwin\mounts v2\/tmp to another directory
the problem is that there are locked directories in c:\tmp which i can't delete at all. i can't even take ownership of them.
Clamwin still makes use of c:\tmp in order to write temporary content.
the c:\tmp isn't specified in the Temp or Tmp system variables.
the folders are called clamav-27f7a344f2a43af5 (the part after the clamav- is always 16 characters hex code?)
I also have a file in program files\clamwin called err12.log which shows the same symptoms. in other words can't be accessed or deleted. though it grows daily.
clamwin is installed in e:\ not c:
the /tmp in the registry points to d:/tempvar, which is also the location of the temp and tmp system variables
has anyone experienced something similar? can someone look into this?
Thanks
