LONG TIME SCANNING 3 HOURS+ still scanning?

Hi i am a newbie to the forum,just downloaded clam 0.88 for windows XP,seems reliable & simple,but it does not stop scanning?,with my other av avg it takes aboout 40 mins to fully scan all drives,so is their something in the prefernces that i need to set up or missed?.

I think that is normal speed for Clam.
Kaspersky Antivirus needs only 10 minutes for 12 Gigabytes. ClamWin needs 70 minutes but Kaspersky also needs 20% of my machine performance and ClamWin does not!

So I think it is ok
