:( Can't delete quarantined file orginally found during scan of my e-games solitaire. This was moved to quarantine and from there I can't delete. Two files of this type found. I did delete the
Solitaire eGames file; dumped this from recycle bin. Now what do these infected files do just sit there in Quarantine. Can they migrate elsewhere?
Obviously from my questions I am a novice and frankly did't even understand the last part of the questionaire when I registered but I still do know my name, where I live etc. so I think I could understand any helpful hint(s) and/or explanations. What does this Poll business mean?

Can you check if you have the necessary authorizations on your quarantine folder?
The quarantine folder is usually in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine. Open this directory in the Windows Explorer, right click on the folder and choose "Properties". On the security tab, you can check if you have the authorization to delete files (if you are Administrator you should be ok). If you have these authorizations, you can just select the files in the quarantine folder and delete them.

I am am replying to my own query regarding the inability to delete quarantined files:
First, thank you for your reply.
Second, shortly after I had posted and deleted all files relating to this e-game; I went back into the quarantined e-file and found this time that I was able to delete it and dumped the file into the bin. Thank you anyway for replying and I will use this site for other questions and/or information in the future.
