I'm tryng to use an add-on from Firefox called https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3581 SafeDownload, it basically allow to run untill 4 programs after the browser download a file, at least one of them gotta be Clamwin.

Well, I set the config file at the tool menu on firefox, the configuration line parameter's like this:
clamwin --mode=scanner --path=%d --quiet --close

it just wont work!
I've tryed anothers parameters at the --path=%d, like %1, %Y, and C:\ the last one worked, but it seems useless Razz

I would appreciate any help
Cheers

Looks like it cannot parse the command string and replace %d by the filename. Are you sure you have to use "%d" and not "%s" (which is usually used for strings) ??

You might want to use clamscan in stead of clamwin, as this post on the support forum suggests:

Actually, I didn't know about the %s string, but it hasn't work neither.
However, in that case, I really need a string, because I don't know witch path file name'll be used.

After testing the SD extension with ClamWin I noticed that you have to specify the database file for the scanner to function correctly. I was able to get it working by using the parameter below.

clamscan --database=c:\docume~1\alluse~1\.clamwin\db

I'm having a problem with clamscan, that it can't contact the database, as well it hasn't any graphical intarface.

Anyway, appreciates your help.
