Being that it costs quite a bit of money to get certified and knowing that clamav/clamwin are free, I don't see what the benefit would be? |

I've noticed that in general, those paid testing outfits don't seem to say very much bad about any product they test. Some of the test results have surprised me because the products sound a lot better than they are in other/unpaid tests. For instance, two of CA's antivirus products are "certified," but Clam/ClamWin is better than them at detecting new viruses, and it is updated more often than they (and most other AV products) are.
