My unofficial answer as just another ClamWin user:
The current focus of ClamWin future development appears to be a version containing an on-access, realtime scanner for its primary installed base of Windows XP and other legacy users. With that said, however, the ClamWin philosophy is to keep it as simple as possible, so it may well be that the new version will operate on Vista 32 bit, at least, without any problems. One Vista user recently said he had no problems running the current ClamWin on-demand file scanner. Any required Vista functionality will probably come after the realtime scanner is stable. At the present time there are only two ClamWin developers, and they are not full-time.
