Hey all, I wrote up a little howto with pictures and step by step on how to setup your Firefox with ClamWin using Download Statusbar.

Let me know what you think. Btw: if it destroys your hard drive or trashes your data I'm sorry and hold no responsibility Wink

very nice, perhaps I'm working on a way to use clamd (or something like)
[it's ported to win32 in the 0.93]
so this will avoid the db loading overhead, it can be done by an "almost easy" setup
while waiting for mayor changes in the gui to being able of doing similar scan

I've added a link in my development page
https://oss.netfarm.it/clamav/ https://oss.netfarm.it/clamav/

but since I'm a very newbe blogger, I have not clear what does trackback link work so
I've just linked the url you suggested, correct me if I'm wrong Very Happy

What is the safest web browser to use other then firefox? I am wondering if anyone could recommend a safer web browser to use now that i heard that firefox has just as many security flaws as internet explorer.

All browsers (and antivirus programs) have flaws, so I would just pick out one I like and stick with it. To a great extent, the user is the real "safety component."
