You will see the correct version number right below the word ClamWin on the About Page under the Help menu option.
If you have any doubt about it, I recommend uninstalling ClamWin either through the Add/Remove Programs option in Control Panel or Start, Programs, ClamWin, Uninstall. Then download ClamWin version 95.1 from the website and reinstall. Regards, |

I have the same problem of ahlquinn: after upgrading from 0.94.1 to 0.95.1 (using the downloaded clamwin-update-0.94.1_0.95.1.exe), this is what appears in about dialog:
ClamWin Free Antivirus Version 0.94.1 Website: https://www.clamwin.com ClamAV 0.95.1 Protecting from 546302 Viruses Virus DB Version: (main: 50; daily 9292) Updated: 03:25 27 apr 2009 Then, ClamWin still keeps to tell me that a new version (0.95.1) is available. If I try to run again clamwin-update-0.94.1_0.95.1.exe, it says it can't install because 0.95.1 is already installed. What should I do? Am I forced to uninstall and reinstall the full 0.95.1 install package? It's the first time I have a problem with an upgrade. Mauro |

I had a similar problem. There is definitely something buggy with the .94.1 to .95.1 upgrade. Control Panel/Add Remove Programs was also reporting .94.1 after the upgrade.
Running a .95.1 complete install was OK for me too. |

I'm trying to wait for the following update, hoping it will fix everything. After all, I think 0.95.1 is actually installed, even if the GUI and the update system says it differently.
If I'm really forced to uninstall and re-install, I will do it after seeing that the next update won't get it right too... |
