LibClamAV errror cli_reloc() can't re-allocate memory to xxxxxxx bytes.
realloc problem Not enough space.

Just installed 95.1 on a 98 machine with 1G of Ram, and it seems to run ok for a while, then this message comes up over and over again. The xxxxxx number keeps changing.

The previous version ran with no such issue.

could you please go to Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced

and add
-v

to Additional Clamscan Command Line Parameters
and try to reproduce it?

I did some further testing. I had run it on another 98 machine, and didn't get the error. Then Ran it on two other partitions on the original machine, and those partitions ran with no errors. Went back to the original C: drive, and got the errors again. Then started doing subsets of the directories, and eventually found that the directory where the errors occurred where in my mail directory. and involved 3 of the 185 Mail folders I have. All the files are the mail folders with the extension of PMM (Pegasus Email). I'm not sure what is difference between these 3 files and the other 182 ones. These are not the biggest ones.

Tried the -v, and saw no difference in the messages. The just keep coming, but it does eventually finish when I am just scanning on a single file.

The actual file is just under 6MB, and has 2747 email messages.
The largest email folder is over 95MB, and has not problem. Other folders have twice as many messages, so not sure what it could be.

it's not exactly the same result, now we known that the problem is in the email module, unfortunately I think you cannot provide the file, but at least we have a starting point

I was trying to see if it was a specific message that was causing the problem. I moved half of the messages to another folder and then scanned both, and neither had the error. Then moved the messages back, and the error came up again??
