When I run the scan I get the following LibClamAV warning and ClamAv engine outdated.

Hello,
Make sure that you have the latest version of Clamwin installed (currently 0.94.1). The reason for the outdate message comes from the fact that Clamwin is based on the Clamav engine (which is an application designed to run on Linux environments) which is now at version 0.94.2. Once Clamwin catches up with most updated version of Clamav engine the warning will disappear. Note that this is not affecting Clamwin performance anyway.
Currently Clam is testing version 0.95 which is supposed to go out live by mid March. Clamwin relevant update will follow but no planned date is available right now.

Thanks for the reply helpful but I am confused when i go to look for latest version it indicates that I have the latest version 94.2

Hello,
On official site latest available version is 0.94.1 (see the download section on Clamwin's website). Pls post the message that is stating you have the latest version installed.

I have the latest verison which is 94.1 but I still getting the message when scanning the ClamAV engine is outdated. should I uninstall and reinstall?

There's no need to do anything. The latest version of ClamWin is .94.1. You can always check if you have the latest version of ClamWin by Opening it, going to Help, and Check Latest Version. You can also set ClamWin's Internet Update preferences to Notify you of new ClamWin releases, and you will see a message above your system tray when a new version of ClamWin is available.
ClamWin uses the scanning engine and database from Clam Antivirus, which is in version .94.2 at the moment. The Clam AV version will always be a little ahead of ClamWin. The message you see when scanning is actually for Clam AV users, but ClamWin users get the same message as well.
Don't worry--ClamWin is still working hard for you!
