Hi all
We've been using Clamwin in many servers in our company for years with very good results.
Some months ago, we began to program all the servers to automatically perform a virus check weekly on Sundays, so we only needed to check the reports and delete the infected files. It has been working out superb, until today, when we have experienced a strange issue at the same time in 3 machines: all the servers got stuck and we were forced to restart. After doing so, all the servers began to open multiple instances of the scheduled scan of the Sunday's all the time.
In all the cases we have had to manually close more than 50 clamscan.exe processes.
Today is wednesday, so scheduled scan shouldn't have started.
Al those servers where Windows 2003 Server, two web edition (EN) and one Small Business Server Enterprise (ES).
Has anyone had similar issues? Do you know how to prevent this problem?
Thank you!!

Same problem here. Seems to be caused by Clamtray.exe loading multiple Clamsan.exe's.
I unloaded Clamtray.exe and switched to Clamwin.exe but have not tested the scheduled scan portion yet.

Same problem here, with Windows 2000 Server. The same problem appeared back when daylight savings time ended, and the word then was that the problem was fixed.

Same with me with Vista. Is continually scanning (usually a weekly occurence), which eventually causes the computer to freeze completely. Any easy solutuons? (have to admit to being fairly computer illiterate...a friend set this up for me).
Thanks

Same issue here on Windows XP, a regular workstation.
Anytime I start ClamWin (ver 0.94-1), many clamscan.exe processes start up.
I have been using ClamWin for a couple of years now without issues.
Anyone with a solution greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
zratis
