if you select quarantine option, clamwin will simply move files to the quarantine folder

So it's just as if I cut and pasted the files myself and the quarantine folder is just a regular folder?
If so, am I supposed to send ClamAV those files or something? |

I am not sure I understood the other question properly... If the files are quarantined that means they are already detected by the clamav so no need to sendthem anywhere[/quote] |

Yes, you've got a point. Obviously it already knows it's a virus...
So in other words, what is it good for? |

quarantine folder isolates a virus so it will not run if it's path is in the "Run" registry key or somewhere else for automated execution |
