I scanned my computer with Spybot S&D and it found malware named pchealth and i removed it using that program but the file still remained i was wandering what it was and how to get rid of it

There are some valid Windows programs named PC Health. Where did you find the file on your computer?
If the file is in C:\i386 or C:\windows or C:windows\inf or c:\windows\servicePakFile\i386 it is probably okay. There were some viruses related to pchealth, but they are several years old now. I would question the file if it is in any other location--especially in the c:\windows\system32 directory or in a temp directory.

also, find the virus and upload it to virustotal.com
If it is recognized by multiple antiviruses(on V total)
then download killbox and destroy that file on system restart
|
