Where on my computer can I find the ClamWin configuration file--the one that has my filters for the file extensions to scan?

Thanks, Alch. I'll make a backup so that I won't lose my filters every time I do a fresh install of ClamWin.

Hello mac1122,

It's true, ClamWin has no real time protection enabled by now. Developers are looking after it but there is no schedule fixed by now.
For auto updates, ClamWin is already capable of making hourly updates of virus DB. Moreover, on the Preferences you can set ClamWin to make scheduled scans of any local folder/HD you choose at any time.
I know this is not replacing real time protection but it's quite close to that... Very Happy

For the time being my recommendation would be to use ClamWin as a backup scanner using other free AV tools that have real time protection; ClamWin won't conflict with none of them until it becomes in the future an on-access scanner.

Regards,
Antonio
