Am very new to ClamWin & downloaded 0.93.1 from ClamWin.com site. The updates tell me that I should upgrade to verson .94. When I follow the links from the fag's it brings me to the source page. It talks about all these pkgs. and extra things that I am unfamiliar with.
I downloaded .94 from one of the sites and ended up with a vertical slender box of Spybot Search & Destroy scanner.
Could someone please direct me to the site where I can download the setup for .94 version?
I would assume that the setup should have all necessary components or does one have to add a bunch of extra things like pkgs. etc.?
Would surely appreciate some direction here, bearing in mind that I am very unfamiliar with ClamWin. Thanks.
Windows ME
PS - Will the upgrade have all the previous updates or does one have to get them elsewhere?

The ClamWin web site always has the latest version of ClamWin available for download--currently .93.1. Version .94 is being beta tested and should be available soon.
Clam Antivirus provides the scanning engine and signature updates for ClamWin. Clam AV is used on Linux machines, however, so the ClamWin developers have to incorporate any new Clam changes into ClamWin, and they can only do this in their spare time.
The warnings you get about being out-of-date appear after there has been a recent Clam AV update. Don't be alarmed--ClamWin is still getting the signature updates, and it is still just as good as it was. You can also be sure that Alch/Sherpya will have an updated ClamWin version available as soon as possible.
If you selected automatic notification of new ClamWin releases when you installed it, ClamWin will check every 24 hours and inform you when a new version is available. You can also right click on the ClamWin icon in the system tray to check for a new version or visit the main page at the ClamWin website. When a new version is available, all you will have to do is download and run/install it.
Regards

Thanks GuitarBob
I didn't realize that .94 was still in beta. I thought I saw somewhere that it was a stable release.
I will wait till it is released and then try again.
