I've read the posts and don't know if ClamWin is Vista compatible....some are having problems. Would like to hear from Vista users that are NOT having issues with ClamWin.....thanks

Since I have received NO replies....I will assume Clamwin and Vista are NOT compatible or No one running Vista is using Clamwin ?

You wanted to hear from users, I am the developer, therefore I didn't reply.
I can tell you that we develop and test ClamWin on Vista 32 and 64 bit systems. So it does work, and if there are issues then they are related to a specific user software configuration.

thanks for your reply...so, the debug patch I read about for the Vista users that were unable to complete a scan is a unique situation ? Ver 0.93.1 does not require the debug patch to work with Vista. I read where the patch updates ClamWin to ver 0.93.3 and I was waiting for ClamWin to bring out ver 0.93.3 before I tried ClamWin.....Please comment thanks again

0.93.1 works on Vista just fine. There is a problem with East-Asian language filenames in Memory scanning, file scanning is fine and no debug patch is necessary.
We will not be releasing 0.93.3 as 0.93.4 is not too far away

I can confirm the same problem with ClamWin 0.93.1. I tried running the scan elevated and non-elevated with user account control and the same error occurred. However, after I copied the debug files to my bin directory the scan now completes successfully without being elevated. Thank you for the support.
I had no idea the debug build was limited to East-Asian Language files....this Post is from USA and the previous Posts in the thread were from Italy... I assumed the debug build 0.93.3 was necessary to update 0.93.1 to be compatible with Vista.... thanks again Respectfully bjm
