Executing scans like the scheduler does.

I have various applications that use clamwin to scan every incoming file, and whilst the scan is quick enough, and the window closes by itself "--close" it still brings up a window for every scan that is started.
I wanted to know if there was anyway to start a scan in the background, like the scheduled scans are started?

( Is there any other way than to schedule a scan for the next minute? :P )

make a .bat file

Code:

@echo off
"c:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\clamscan.exe" -ri -d "c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\db" -log c:\report.log _path_to_scan

off course you may need to adjust paths

That still brings up a black window, when the batch file is executed.

Besides I can't see how "Download Status bar" can write to this batch file every time it downloads a file. :\

So there's no command line for ClamWin.exe --mode:scanner ?

So I see it does work.
But how would I go about getting another program to do that?

For example when I download items in Firefox, and i want to scan the individual downloads, I use...
ClamWin.exe --mode=scanner --close --path=%1

What could I replace that with?
