I think what Sherpya means is that everyone who uses ClamWin and wants to help improve it is eligible to be a beta tester. All they have to do is make a request to be one, and you have done so. I imagine they will be getting back to you either here or in a private message.

To make a good contribution as a beta tester, you probably need to be familiar with using ClamWin--configuration options, accessing the scan/update logs, and accessing the quarantine folder. There are two kinds of beta testers: some just run the beta version like they would ClamWin normally and report any problems/suggestions. Others really give it a workout and try to "break" it or use in in unusual ways. Both types are needed.

Beta testing is the best way we average users can help improve ClamWin. Some antivirus companies are having all kinds of problems right now because they don't test their AVs enough before release--most notably F-Prot and Bit Defender. They are both good products, but the developers aren't average users, they evidently don't have enough average users testing their products, and they release their new versions too quickly. We don't want that to happen with ClamWin!

I waited, but I still didn't get Beta access. I just thought I Would help make Clamwin better but I haven't recieved Beta access, so I will ask one more time because I really like this program and want to help.
