Yes, scanning this 2MB files that it is a .eml file with some .pdf attachments hangs.
I tested in Windows XP SP1, Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 in all this PC´s do the same. And I found this.
For example:
You run clamscan.exe to scan this file FileThatHangs.eml.
ClamScan hangs with a 100% use of CPU for ever.
If you go to the tmp directory and open the direcotry that ClamScan created inside tmp direcotry (example: clamav-4723c7ee7ca68f9d654654a9ce12dd9e) , automatically ClamScan stops and return an error like this.

LibClamAV Error: Can't remove temporary directory /cygdrive/c/clamav-devel/tmp/c
lamav-4723c7ee7ca68f9d654654a9ce12dd9e: Device or resource busy

Link to download this file: https://www.coltgti.com.ar/FileThatHangs.eml

What is happening, only found that it does it with this eml.? Are .pdf the problem? Why it can´t delete the tmp directory, with any other files work perfect.

Any idea. I give you to all this file to donwload it and confirm, what I am saying.

Regards,
Leo

I was talking about clamwin configuration, not clamav. clamscan parameter for not processing rfc822 files is --no-mail

If you are using clamd and clamdscan then you are in a wrong forum. ClamWin does not support clamd and it does not include it in the distribution.
If you are using SOSDG port please contact them for support.
