I'm not sure, but can you check if you have large compressed files on your disk ?
The only thing i can come up with is that ClamWin decompresses large files to be able to scan them. If that is the case, you can alter the settings in the ClamWin preferences (on the Archives tab) to limit the size of compressed files that are scanned. The files will still be scanned as a raw file, but clamwin will no longer decompress them. If that is not the problem, you may want to check the ClamWin log files and see if they tell you anything usefull (post them here if in doubt). |
