I am trying to configure Clam (v 0.88) to send an email via Blat (a command line emailer, v 2.5).
In the clamd.conf file, I have tried both of the commands below, changing the quotes, but neither work.
I can not seem to get Clam to send an email via Blat. (can send using Blat manually).
Would this error show up in any of the log files? I do not see it - have verbose loggin on.

# Execute a command when virus is found. In the command string %v will

VirusEvent "C:/program files/blat/blat.exe - -body Virus_Detected_%v -subject Virus_Detected_%v" -to virus@myemail.com -noh2 -log log.txt -p ClamAV"
-or-
VirusEvent C:/program files/blat/blat.exe - -body "Virus Detected by Clam AV: %v" -subject "Virus Detected: %v" -to virus@myemail.com -noh2 -log log.txt -p ClamAV
(standard Blat commands are preceeded with a dash, and these commands work when run from cmd)
many thanks.

try this:
VirusEvent "C:/program files/blat/blat.exe" - -body "Virus Detected by Clam AV: %v" -subject "Virus Detected: %v" -to virus@myemail.com -noh2 -log log.txt -p ClamAV
or replace "C:/program files/blat/blat.exe" with 8.3 name, ususally c:/progra~1/blat/blat.exe
VirusEvent c:/progra~1/blat/blat.exe - -body "Virus Detected by Clam AV: %v" -subject "Virus Detected: %v" -to virus@myemail.com

thanks for the suggestions (good ones).
alas, i can not seem to get it to work.
(restarting the service after each change etc)
it never seems to get to Blat - nothing shows up in the Blat log.
don't see where it might show up in the Clam logs.
thanks.
