ClamWin found a couple of files on my HD which were infected with malware called Exploit.HTML.Ascii. If I delete these files from the .clamwin quarantine folder, is the malware then permanently disabled, or does it simply get sent to the Recycle Bin, waiting to be overwritten once the Bin is emptied? And does that then permanently disable the malware?

Deleting a file containing malware from the Clamwin quarantine folder will send the file with the malware to the Windows Recycle Bin, and it will be permanently deleted from your computer the next time the Recycle Bin is emptied. No matter where it is, the malware cannot be activated unless the file is activated/clicked on--just like any file.
