Is there a way to tailor the alert messages

I would like to be able to modify the alert messages to specify types of virus threats or anything else for that matter. Anyone out there know if this is possible.

Clamwin is open source and you can modify the source code to change the alerts to suit your needs. The code is written in Python so it is quite easy to modify
