I seem to be getting a pop-up at each new boot saying "can not find scrpit file killvbs.vbs" Yes, the misspelled cannot is how it shows, so it obviously isn't form Microsoft. It doesn't seem to harm anything, but it does prevent my opening a USB drive. Any ideas? Thanx!

You might filnd some help at https://groups.google.fr/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support/msg/e8bb4c95bb2175fa on the Web.
Some more help is at https://www.bullguard.com/forum/10/Killvbsvbs-removal-from-system_47676.html on the Web.
Finally there is an AVG forum post re: malware cleaning that might help at https://forum.grisoft.cz/freeforum/read.php?4,27725,backpage= on the Web.
Don't download any removal tools unless they are posted on a trusted page/forum--like Castle Cops, Bleeping Computer Doc Com or one of the AV companies.
