Can Clam scan inside self-extracting archives - ie can it unpack them and scan the files inside, or does it just scan the raw file like any other .exe?

ClamAV handles certain unpackers like UPX, FSG, MEW, but I don't believe it supports items RAR-SFX and ZIP-SFX.

What does Clam do if it can't handle a particular packer/decryptor? Does it ignore it or give the user some sort of warning (perhaps a PUA warning)?
