I would be very happy if ClamWin creates a new tab in the preferences window that is called "scan methods" or something, where you can set the following options (these are command-line switches for clamav):
--no-algorithmic Disable algorithmic detection
--no-pe Disable PE analysis
--no-elf Disable ELF support
--no-ole2 Disable OLE2 support
--no-pdf Disable PDF support
--no-html Disable HTML support
--no-archive Disable libclamav archive support
I'm also missing these settings:
--detect-broken Try to detect broken executable files
--block-encrypted Block encrypted archives
I hope you like my suggestion.
Regards, Bastian

there is already an option to disable archive scan but currently the option may be misunderstood
it doesn't mean to skip archives, it just disables archive unpacking but they are scanned as raw files
for the other options there is the additional command line in advanced tab but I suspect you
are looking for specific options in the preferences panel,
they may be added but the configuration panel may become a bit confusing
make a pool about a specific option, if there are enough requests alch may add the option(s)

Looks to me like if all these options were disabled, it would take away some functionality from Clam/ClamWin, and, not having an advanced set of heuristics, it needs all the functionality it can get!
