Hi all.
First and foremost, let me just say congratulations on an excellent project. Clamwin detected two viruses that Panda failed to detect. That impressed me since I always thought that Panda had the best detection rate to date.
Now onto my question...
Since ClamWin has no on access scanner, is it possible to have it installed with another antivurs software without compromising sysetm stability? That way, I could have the best of both worlds!
Cheers, P.

yes it should coexist no problems. The only note - if you have onaccess scanner from other av then when you use clamwin to scan a folder every file will be scanned twice - once by clamwin and second time by onaccess scanner form another av product resulting in a slowdown. You may exclude clamscan.exe from onaccess scanning if your other av allows process exclusions

Thanks for that info. That's great to know. That way I can schedule scans for when the users are not around and email the results to myelf. Slowdown shouldn't be a problem since it will be down during downtime.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
P.
