I am trying to properly interpret the registry value SOFTWARE\ClamWin\Version . This is a DWORD whose value is 0x000023a0 which equals 9120 decimal for the most recent version 0.91.2. My question is in regard to the last digit. I have not been able to find any version of Clamwin whose version number was not of the form 0.XX.Y, so I'm curious as to the reason for the 0 at the end. Also, a previous check for this number apparently found something where the number was less than a thousand with no zero at the end. Was this true at one point?
(note, this is part of an effort to be able to identify versions of software through an SMB connection to the machine where the registry can be accessed, but the running software can not)
Thank You

I now see ClamWin version with four digits, but is that relatively new (say only in version 9). Still trying to understand how ClamAV and ClamWin versions match up.

sometimes we have to issue a patch to clamwin code when clamav version did not change (0.90.1), so we call it 0.90.1.1
