I'm new at this. My latest scan found this file - but I can't find the file on my computer. Help, please

You might try to double click on your Recycle Bin. See if the file is in there set up for deletion. If it is, you can restore it. Before doing so, however, you should see if you can tell where it came from by looking at the information about the file, and that is where it will be restored to.

The Recycler directory is related to the Windows Recycle Bin where you put files you want to delete. It is often hidden. To unhide it, go to your Control Panel, Folder Options, View and select Show Hidden Files and Folders. You may also have to de-select Hide Extensions for Known File Types and/or de-select Hide Protected Operating System Files. If you Empty the Recycle Bin, it will permanently delete any files that have been sent there.

Thanks for the info and suggestions. The RECYCLER folder is now showing in the list and it contains the file I'm looking for. The file was created in Feb 2007 and this is the first time Clamwin has listed it as being infected with a virus. I ran a scan on the individual file and Clamwin didn't note any problems so I'm concluding, based on other postings I've read in this forum, that this is a false positive, but I'll run a couple other scans (with other software) to make sure. Thanks for your assistance - I really appreciate it!

it's not a false positive, it's a harmless file used for testing of ClamAV scanning engine as indicated in the virus name:
ClamAV-Test-File FOUND

This test file is included with the source code distribution of clamav
