Hello shailen0306,

Well, then probably it may be hard coded (a developer may answer here better). Could you explain why you are looking ? This may motivate some more people to answer Smile

I am not sure, if ClamWin is designed for this ? (If it is designed for that, could you shailen0306 explain what steps you tried ?)
Also here again: why you want that ? There is ClamTray which can run from windows start and then you can set up schedules, but in case you search for on-access scanning, see https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=1185&highlight=scanning here

ClamWin doesn't have a service, so that might be why you're unable to find that. The only real use of the registry would be to run clamwin at startup and maybe to install the shell-extension into explorer.

@ shailen0306 : If you really want to know the details, you can check out the setup.iss file from subversion (have a look at https://clamwin.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/clamwin/trunk/clamwin/Setup/Setup.iss?revision=1387&view=markup https://clamwin.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/clamwin/trunk/clamwin/Setup/Setup.iss?revision=1387&view=markup.
This is a script to generate the installer using InnoSetup, and contains all registry settings that are used.

Can any one please tell me how to stop the service ,if clam win is not there in services(control panel-->Administrative Tools-->Services)??
If i exit it from the system tray or end the process from Windows task Manager.. It is not captured by my program..

there is no clamwin service, so exiting tray would stop all clamwin processes in Windows
