My Internet Explorer has been hijacked (i.e. my browser web page cannot be changed from a site that I don't want). What can I do?

Download any free anti-spyware program that can help you from hijackers
I recommend you to download the free program called Spyware sweeper
This will manually remove the spyware, which is hijacking your browser. You would find free instructions at www.spyware-sweeper.com

To what Owen said, let me add that if you have problems getting rid of the malware, go to the following link. The forum at CastleCops is also a good place for help, but I think you will get help faster at the link. Both places rely heavily upon HijackThis logs, so you might get a copy of HijackThis if you don't have already one. Trend Micro has a free download of it.
