I am getting this message when I start a batch scan. I also get the same message when Clamwin scans an e-mail file online.

I took your advice and it worked, all is now running smoothly.

Thanks for responding so quickly.

Kindest Regards

This is me on top of the mountain at the end of the bay where I live. It's a great place and wonderfully remote from any form of technical support!

Following up on the reply and my thank you note.

Once I had applied the reccomended fix, i got an error in OUTLOOK. The report was listed as an unknown error on my POP3 Incoming mail server.

I don't know whether this was caused by the problem with Clamwin or whether this problem caused the Clamwin error message.

However I ran scanpst.exe and it found errors in my OUTLOOK.PST and ARCHIVE.PST files.

These errors or corruptions were fixed by scanpst.exe

PST fies are notoriously prone to corruptions so ths may also be a handy tip for other situations.

All really is well now in SW Turkey!

Regards
