I want to make ClamWin-button in Total Commander button-bar.

But I cannot write so long string in parametrs:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\clamscan.exe" --tempdir "c:\tmp" --keep-mbox --stdout --database="C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\db" --log="c:\tmp\ClamWinLOG.txt" --max-ratio=0 --no-mail --detect-broken --infected --max-files=5000 --max-space=51200 --max-recursion=10 --show-progress --recursive --kill

How I must write command to check file in command line TC?

add "C:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\" to the system wide PATH variable, move the database files to c:\clamdb\
then you can use this:
clamscan.exe --keep-mbox --stdout --database=c:\clamdb --no-mail --infected --show-progress --recursive --kill

(--max parametyers are not needed as there are default values)

I am trying to figure out based on forums what people are doing about making scans fast yet good enough to catch most things.
This is the command I am using however it seems to only scan the windows directory, any Ideas? and is there a better way to pass exclusions?

C:\mytechroom\Virus\ClamWin\bin>"c:\mytechroom\virus\clamwin\bin\clamscan.exe" -
-database="c:\mytechroom\virus\clamwin\bin" --log="c:\mytechroom\virus\clamwin\l
og\clamscanlog.txt" --infected --kill --max-space=51200 --max-recursion=30 --mov
e="c:\mytechroom\virus\quarantine" --exclude-dir="c:\mytechroom\virus\quarantine
" --exclude=*.cab --exclude=*.MP* --exclude=*.log --exclude=*.pst --exclude=*.os
t --exclude=*.jpg --exclude=*.avi --exclude=*.msi --exclude=*.jpg --exclude=*.av
i --exclude=*.wmv --exclude=*.dll --recursive --show-progress c:\

I'm using ClamWin on my stand-alone PC. I've configured it to scan for only certain file types that are most likely to contain malware. I originally got the scan time down to about 45 minutes, but I've added more file types since then--.ani, .pdf, .php, etc. and a complete scan now takes about an hour. I'm sure I will have to add more file types as time goes by and new exploits appear.

If you use another/real-time antivirus, you could just use ClamWin to "fill in the holes" and provide extra protection. If I scan just the Windows directory, it only takes about 30 minutes at present.

Regards,
