Does anyone know of a standalone bootable CD which incorporates the latest ClamAV?

I would like to boot off a CD and check my windows machine's hard drive.

Thanks, but there is no ISO to download from those pages and it looks like the BartPEBuilder needs to have the original Windows installation CDs (which I don't have, since my Windows machine came pre-installed).

It's also not clear how to install/integrate the latest ClamAV into the bootable image. The one that would be included is version 0.86.

Any other ideas?

Yes, lake me also the bootable cd !!
Like me becouse it's very good tools when we have a virus that required system down for to kill the virus.

I agree this would be a great addition. Especally when a virus is preventing booting into the main system. Or as been posted above, some viruses are very resiliant and require booting outside of the infected OS to get rid of them.

make yourself a bootbale CD from your Windowx XP CD and include clamwin (you may replace the binaries in this plugin with the latest ones):

Yes that would be a great method, and one I would suggest myself except that many people don't have a original WinXP CD to build a PE disc. But I guess this is the only way currently (and by the sounds, that is not going to change).

well, as much as I'd love to provide such CD it is not possible due to Micorosft's Copyright - we can't distribute Windows XP binaries.

So you would have to build it using your Windows XP CD.

Oh you misunderstand, I didn't mean to supply the XP CD to create a WinPE CD. I ment giving ClamAV the ablity to be bootable. I am well aware of the copyrights and that one needs a XP CD to build WinPE.
