Not a problem ... just trying to optimize ( I don´t like splash screens of any kind )

Changing the bmp to a 1x1 pixel ( or simply renaming it ) seems to work, but I think is a ordinary way to do this...

After searching through the option/preferences I was wondering why there isn´t a "hide splash" option.

I hope not annoy anybody with this vulgar trick. Wink

One more time : sorry for my english...

Thanks for the response alch Smile

My comment has to do with Outlook startup, so I will post it here.

On starting Outlook 2003 in Win XP (Media Ctr Ed), Outlook is not in focus after the ClamWin splash screen fades. This is very annoying, and a bug.

Regarding the splash screen, it should be disabled after the first few uses automatically, or not there in the first place. It delays me starting to use Outlook. Of course, I am assuming that Outlook would be ready if not for the splash screen. If the screen is only there for the exact amount of time it takes the ClamWin plugin to start up, then it is still annoying but ok.

A case where the splash screen is a problem

I have an application that periodically automates Outlook to retrieve a little information. If Outlook isn't running, it starts Outlook invisibly, and the Outlook process exits when it is done. The ClamWin splash screen shows up every time the application does its quick update, which seems inappropriate.

I don't mind the splash screen so much when I start Outlook myself, but it is annoying when it just shows up while I'm doing other things.

I have the same type application (I am using Google Calendar Sync) and I am expriencing that same problem. It is getting to very annoying. There have been times it has stolen the focus from the form I am working on grrr.

I do however love the app! Thanks for all your hard work!!

Hello,

I IS annoying to see this splash screen EVERY time I open my Outlook. I consider it a bug not to have the option to disable it. Will you consider to put this option in future releases?

Kind regards,

Ricardo
