Error Messages While Scanning Hard Disk

I am getting a prompt frequently while scanning the Hard disk on my computer. The prompt says:

Code:

WARNING: Can't open file \\?\C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp

In this regard, the entire scanning box is full of this error.

What is this and why does the scanner require to open this file?

the scanner tries to scan it and cannot open because it is locked for exclusive use by another program or operating system. in your case the error message is harmless
