ClamWin doesn't have any capability to repair malware beyond quarantine/delete of an infected file. It also uses the virus signature database of ClamAV, which isn't yet yet quite as good at recognizing prevalent malware as many of the commercial antivirus products. In view of this, what do you think about a FAQ or a list in the ClamWin Help files of aids in malware protection/location/elimination/prevention? To start off, here is my list of aids:
Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool is updated more often than MCafee's Stinger and has a bigger database.
UnHackMe (30 day trial) claims to locate/remove Hacker Defender/related rootkit trojans and seems to work fast.
AVG Antivirus (free/paid) can't scan some compressed files on its own but can when ClamWin scans them.
Microsoft's free Windows Defender software does a good job of stopping spyware but doesn't bother with cookies.
SandboxIE allows you to run Internet Explorer (downloads/active x/etc.) in a deleteable sandbox.
