my Task-Manager shows me, that ClamTray.exe uses 18.000 k of my memory. I think, that this is a little bit too much. I mean, it doesn't do any really complex tasks. It only lies in the tray without real time scanning or anything else.

The same with the process ClamWin.exe (idle). 21.000 k of memory usage. I really think, that this hasen't to be.

You would do a favor to me, if you could fix this.

ClamAV is written in c/c++,isn't it?

Yes it is, but the user interface (which is ClamWin) is mostly written in Python.
To tune the performance, we would have to rewrite at least ClamTray.exe in C/C++.
